nutritionDay worldwide is an annual initiative for health care institutions to take part in order to monitor, benchmark and improve the nutritional situation of patients and residents. 

nutritionDay worldwide is in line with the Resolution on food and nutritional care in hospitals by the Council of Europe 2003. It allows benchmarking at an European level with comparable institutions around the world. The coordinating center is in Vienna/Austria.
